What We Do

Once you start the ball rolling by contacting us we will:

  • Inspect the vehicle FREE OF CHARGE.
  • Offer a price based upon what we intend to do with the car.
  • Agree a time and place to collect the car which is mutually convenient.
  • Pay CASH directly to you – or a cheque if you prefer.
  • What Happens When You Have Sold Your Car

Because we buy used cars we feel it is very important that you understand what happens to your vehicle after we have bought it from you. The reasons for this are simple:

  • Legal
  • Environmental
  • Safety

When you sell a car you are still legally responsible for it unless you dispose of it legally and in an environmentally friendly way and ensure all proper DVLA documentation is completed and registered with the DVLA.

We advise anyone returning parts of the Log Book (V5) to ensure they get proof of postage and a signature at the delivery address. There are a plethora of stories recounted on online forums which result in fines because of the lack of attention to this detail.

We always make sure our procedures are auditable and ensure our customers that we adhere to ALL current legislation to provide peace of mind.

The Environment

Because we follow all legal requirements we also ensure we meet any requirements defined specifically to protect our environment. However, we go one step further. We don’t believe in scrapping a vehicle simply because it has reached the end of its life as it stands. That’s why we inspect it to see what potential the vehicle has for further use – that is true recycling.

Breaking a car for it’s useful parts is and should be a last resort. Breaking a car means pollutants must be dealt with, precious metals extracted and its component parts stripped and all this takes energy and has to be performed with diligence.

The best thing for the environment is to keep a car in tip top condition for as many useful years as possible and that’s what we do.

We ALWAYS use Environment Agency registered carriers and waste disposal/treatment centres. We make sure destruction notices are issued on scrapped vehicles to ensure your peace of mind. The car will have been disposed of by an approved centre and its disposal will be logged with the DVLA information systems.

We won’t put a vehicle back on the road that is not roadworthy or represents a risk to health and safety. That’s why we always inform our customers what we intend to do with with their vehicle once it has been bought by us. It’s also why we inspect vehicles prior to purchase.

Contact us today on 07770 810 673 or 01772 792 877, or simply complete our online form and we will do the rest – you will be glad you did.
